Butterflies Do Lunch at the Labyrinth Garden

This butterfly let me get closer than any so far this year.  We have had a large herd (?) of butterflies residing here through the spring and summer.  I love butterflies.  I accidentally dusted one with sand as I was spreading it around the garden.  The beautiful creature  forgave me and fluttered nearby as I continued gardening . . . .  still friends.

These hot pink cosmos are bright and cheerful.  I try to get a variety of colors of cosmos in the garden so that the bouquets of cut flowers are really beautiful.

More cosmos.  These are relatively new to the Labyrinth Garden.  They are light pink except around the yellow center, where they are a dark rose color.

These light pink cosmos are flourishing in the Labyrinth Garden.  It took a while for the flowers to come out en masse this year, but they are finally coming!
