Comfrey Starts to Bloom

Russian Bocking 14 Comfrey

Russian Bocking 14 Comfrey

This comfrey started to bloom in April.  It is a perennial that comes back strong every year.  Comfrey is said to pull minerals from its deep roots and should definitely be used in the compost pile.  The Bocking 14 type of Russian comfrey is not invasive and seems to weather our drought season pretty well.
